Jason has been employed with Colleton River Plantation Club since January 2010. He attended Mississippi State University where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Golf and Sports Turf Management. His education and work experience include the Mississippi State University Golf Course, 3 Creek Ranch in Jackson, WY, and an internship here at Colleton River Plantation Club in 2007. Jason has been an Assistant Superintendent at Colleton River Plantation Club since 2010 and was promoted to Superintendent in 2013.
Jason’s goals are to continue advancing in the turf management field and to become a head golf course superintendent. He is a licensed Pesticide Applicator and a member of the Low Country Superintendent’s Association, Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents Association and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
Jason enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and many other outdoor activities. He is originally from Coldwater, MS where his parents still reside.
Jake Williams

Jake joined Colleton River Plantation Club in May, 2010. He attended Clemson University, where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Turfgrass Management. His education and work experience include internships at Salisbury Country Club in Richmond, VA, and Pinehurst Resort - Course No. 2 in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Jake’s goals are to continue to advance in Turfgrass management and someday become a head golf course superintendent. He is a licensed Pesticide Applicator and a member of the Low Country Superintendent’s Association, Carolina’s Golf Course Superintendent’s Association, and the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America.
Jake enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and hanging out with his friends. He is originally from Richmond, Virginia, where his parents and brother still reside.
Kyle Bowman
2nd Assistant Superintendent
University of South Carolina, B.S.
Pennsylvania State University, Adv. Certificate
Kyle joined Colleton River Plantation Club in October, 2009. He attended the University of South Carolina—Beaufort, where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism. He then completed his Advanced Certificate in Turf Management from Pennsylvania State University. Kyle has worked his way up by starting as a laborer, irrigation technician, intern and now as the 2nd Assistant Superintendent.
Kyle’s goals are to be successful in the turf industry and eventually become a Head Superintendent. He is a member of the Low Country Superintendent’s Association, Carolina’s Golf Course Superintendent’s Association, and the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America.
Kyle enjoys hunting, boating, sports and hanging out with his friends. He has a Labrador Retriever named Roxie and is originally from Hardeeville, South Carolina.
