Postponement of the Nicklaus Course Closure

Due to the unseasonably cool, wet spring, the Bermuda grass on Dye greens are behind in typical density compared to normal.  This will result in a longer than normal amount of time before the greens will be in “Colleton” shape.  Because of this, we will be postponing the closure on the Nicklaus course from May 29th to June 4th, and in turn, the Nicklaus closure will be extended for an additional week to allow for aerification, transition, and projects.  While the Dye course will stay closed only for its originally allotted time, this will provide an additional week of healing and transitioning before it becomes the primary golf course for play.  We will follow up next week with all of the projects completed on the Dye course in a future E-blast.
