Meet Our Staff - Jack Nicklaus Course and Bruce Borland Course

Kevin Dugger, Superintendent 
Eastern Kentucky University, B.S.




Kevin has been employed with Colleton River Plantation Club since 1998.  He has been the Superintendent for almost the past 14 years.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture with emphasis on Turfgrass Management from Eastern Kentucky.  He has interned at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, IN and Gibson Bay Golf Club in Richmond, Kentucky.  He was the Assistant in Training at Hanging Tree Golf Club in Westfield, IN during construction and then became the Irrigation Technician.    

His primary day in, day out focus is to continue to provide outstanding playing conditions for the Members and guests of Colleton River, to assure that the golf course is maintained in such a fashion that it will continue to be a long lasting asset for the future enjoyment of the Members and guests.  Kevin has enjoyed building the maintenance program for the Dye Course over the past several years and seeing all his efforts come to light as of recent.  He continues to change and adapt the maintenance requirements to the needs of the membership, gathering Members’ input and utilizing the information to assure his team is doing what is expected and required on an ongoing basis.


Kevin is married to Stacey Dugger, and they have a daughter, Maddie, and two dogs, Ty and Bella.  They reside in Bluffton, SC.  He has a sister just outside of Cincinnati with three children.  His parents live in Branson, MO.  He is a licensed Pesticide Applicator and a member of the Low Country Superintendents Association, Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents Association and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.






 Cole Waller
1st Assistant Superintendent
Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College, B.S.
 

Cole has been working with Colleton River Plantation Club since May, 2011.  He attended  Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Turfgrass Management.  His education and work experience include internships at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA, and at Colleton River Plantation Club’s Pete Dye Course.  His goals are to continue to gain more experience and knowledge to become a Golf Course Superintendent.


Cole is married to Alana Waller.  He was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, and enjoys spending time with family, going wakeboarding and water skiing, hunting and golfing.  He is a licensed pesticide applicator and a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, the Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents Association, and the Low Country Golf Course Superintendents Association.
